Epic Records VHS promo for the single. Although the single was released in the USA in 1990, it did not have a worldwide release until 1991, so the video was released to coincide with that. Issued in a black case with typed card label.

It was officially released in 2007 on the DVD "Pride and Joy".

Australian promo. Arguably this is not even a proper promo, as the disc is identical to the retail version. The rear of the sleeve has "Promotion Only - Not For Sale" printed in gold on the rear of the sleeve.

Wham is not the live version that is stated on the cover. It is the studio version that fades out after approximately 2 mins 25 seconds.

The “Little Wing” video was also available separately on a white sleeve promo VHS, (see "1992 - Little Wing" below), which was possibly a giveaway together with “The Sky is Crying” in some places.

This track was originally supposed to be for a Beatles tribute album that Michael Jackson was putting together, to coincide with his acquisition of the rights to their catalogue. The album was scrapped, but the song was eventually released as a single.

Big Blues Extravaganza”, compliation of Austin City Limits songs, including Lovestruck Baby from Stevie's 1983 show. This song is also on the 2000 "S.R.V." box set, and erroneously noted as being ‘previously unreleased, but it actually appeared on this compilation first in 1998, two years before the box set was released.

The track appeared on 3 other promos released at the same time, and eventually appeared on the “SRV” box set in 2000. The Real Deal Sampler was also released in a cut-down form in Canada, but it retained the track“Shake ‘n Bake”

2000 - SRV Box Set

This is the advanced promo version of the 3 CD +DVD box set. It comes in a fat double case but with extra hub for the 3rd disc. The discs are all the normal USA CD versions. The back has the listing for the 4th disc (the DVD) but you had to contact label reps for it. Disc 4 is a DVD called "One Night In Texas...", which is an unaired 1989 taping of "Austin City Limits". Also came with a VHS video, instead of a DVD.

2003 - Arc Music Group - More Today Than Yesterday

More Today Than Yesterday - Format: CD; Label: Arc Music; Cat No: USA: RJ03

Arc Music was a music licensing company based in New York City. The owned the publishing rights to the "Jewel" and "Regent" music catalogues. This CD was a promo to advertise some of their songs.

The track "Pipeline" was included on this promo, with Stevie's name spelt incorrectly and without a credit to Dick Dale.

The company went out of business in 2021 and its catalog was taken over by Primary Wave Music.

5 track promotional CD given away free with the early copies of Craig Hopkins' book, "Day by Day, Night After Night". The CD includes the earliest known live recordings of SRV, from 1969, sitting in with Marc Benno’s band, Jomo. It also includes the “Cast of Thousands” recordings issued on the LP "A New Hi",from 1971. The last track “Licking Stick” is not listed, but appears after a 5 minute gap of silence at the end o the CD.
