Compilation LP on Atlantic Records comprising of 6 bands. SRV track is a 10:22 version of “Flood Down in Texas” from the 1982 Montreux Jazz Festival. At this time it had not been released, but it later appeared on the Live at Montreux CD and DVD. Released on CD in 1986 with the original artwork (Atlantic780 149-2). Reissued in 1991 on CD in Switzerland on the Swissair label (no cat. no.) and in again in 1991 in Germany, on the Montreux Jazz Festival label (1967-10000-2).

First greatest hits compilation after SRV’s death. Reissued by Sony in 2013 under the title “All Time Best”, in a bright yellow sleeve.

Michael Jackson was putting together a Beatles tribute album, to coincide with his acquisition of the rights to their catalogue. “Taxman” was to be SRV’s contribution to that album. The album was scrapped, but the song eventually surfaced here.

The Australian version of the CD (Epic 481025 2) has 3 extra tracks on it: The Sky is Crying, Love Struck Baby and Voodoo Chile).

It is a collection of recordings in chronological order which includes Vaughan live performances, including recitals in Austin, Texas in 1980 and Toronto, Canada in 1983, songs included in their studio albums, and an unreleased live version of "Mary Had A Little Lamb", recorded in Philadelphia in 1987.

It was re-released a year later on 31st May 2005 in a 5 inch slipcase, catalogue number E3K 94466, with each of the 3 albums presented in jewel cases with the original artwork.

In 2009 it was re-issued again with catalogue number 86975 59662, in a newly designed box. Each of the CDs were in jewel cases, with the original artwork.
